Stump Grinding

Tree Labs also offers stump grinding. We perform a thorough grind to make sure no sprouting occurs afterword. Then we haul away the extra debris, leaving you with a flat surface to grow your lawn. Once the grass grows in, no one will be able to tell a stump was there before.

Stump Grinding Considerations

Utilities

Prior to showing up to grind you stump, we will contact the Iowa One Call to have your utilities marked. This ensures a safe grind without worries of damage to your under ground utilities.

Grinding Shields

Grinders have a fly wheel spinning at a high RPM. To ensure safety we use large grinding shields to block flying debris right away. We also take extra precautions by communicating with you to move vehicles and other items near the job site.

Mounding Around the Stump

We bid each job with your future lawn in mind, grinding out the mound around stumps to create a flat space to grow grass after.

Debris

We haul away all the extra debris, and clean up the job site, leaving as few chips as possible. Doing a thorough grinding job creates a lot of debris. We wont leave you with that mess to clean up.

Depth / Width

Tree Labs makes sure to grind deep enough and wide enough to ensure no sprouting occurs in the seasons to come.

Access

The grinder we use can fit through most back yard gates, which allows us easy access to stumps that cant be reached by larger grinders.

Why choose Tree Labs to grind your stumps?

Tree Labs professionals have experience grinding many stumps of all shapes and sizes. We take extra care in our work to ensure a safe and successful grind every time.

Can I keep my stump debris if I want?

Yes! Over the years many gardeners have asked us to leave a pile of the chip debris on their property to use down the road. This is a great option and can even save you money!
